A redesign of a 1960s Colani prototype, taken back to its source: the stingray. The body follows Colani's biodesign principles, where the shape of the car is drawn from the animal rather than from packaging.
Supercar exterior design under Carlos Arroyo Turon, Executive Chief Designer at Colani. My work covered surfacing, visualisation and animation for the Le Mans-style prototype, and the race program built around it.

Mesh and zebra check on the same camera. The stripes show curvature continuity across the body. Drag the line.
The starting point: Colani's own prototype, a single volume with the cabin sunk into the body. The redesign keeps that read — one uninterrupted surface from nose to tail — and rebuilds the proportions around a modern racing package.
Five liveries, each shot as its own car in the same garage set. Pick one to open its full set of renders.
Out of the garage set and onto the circuit, checking how each livery reads at speed and from the angles a camera actually catches.
